Aurora Cooperative donates $10,000 to Stick Creek Kids

May 14, 2019 by Lindsay Buechler

Wood River Vision 20/20 Board Members Brian Hayes, Elizabeth Troyer-Miller, and Tyler Doane recently accepted a $10,000 donation from Aurora Cooperative for the Stick Creek Kids Child Development Center.

Aurora Cooperative representatives Bryce Consbruck, Josh Gartner and Brian Urbom presented the check. These funds are another important donation to the project's capital campaign to build a child care center in Wood River, and are greatly appreciated. The goal is to raise $2 million dollars, and the campaign currently stands at $1,374,000. The Stick Creek Kids leadership team is working hard to pursue several large grant opportunities to help the community get closer to the "finish line".

Anyone wishing to make a donation to the campaign or needing additional information is invited to contact Sara Arnett at 308-380-7030.
